Why Google shows it
Where it shows: in Merchant Center, on the product or on the account.
- Misrepresentation: missing contact details, unclear returns, or offers that look too good to be true.
- Website needs improvement: broken pages, placeholder content or a checkout that does not work.
- Policy violations on products, such as restricted or counterfeit goods.
- Repeated feed problems, such as prices or availability that do not match the site.
How to fix it
- Open Merchant Center and read the account issue named in the notice.
- Fix the shop: contact page, return and shipping policies, secure checkout, working pages.
- Fix the feed so prices, stock and details match the site.
- Request a review from the account issue page once the changes are live.
What happens next
Reviews can take several days. If a review is refused, there may be a waiting period before the next one, so fix everything first.
Shopping campaigns linked to the account stop spending while it is suspended; search campaigns keep running.
How to stop it coming back
Run through your shop as a new customer once a quarter: contact page, delivery costs, returns and checkout.
Watch Merchant Center's warnings, not only disapprovals. Account-level suspensions usually follow warnings left open.
Checks that catch it
Oppy runs these every week, so the status is found early.
- Products that cannot appear at all: Products marked not eligible, which never enter the auction and so never appear in any report.
- The part of the catalogue that got no impression lately: The share of the catalogue that got no impression lately.
