Optizads

Your Google Ads dashboard, on one page. The month against its goals, and what needs you.

The Overview is the Google Ads dashboard every Optizads workspace opens on. It shows this month's budget pace beside your goals, and what waits for your answer. Below sit up to 12 metrics you pick from Google Ads, Google Analytics 4, Search Console and your own sheets.

  • 157 built-in metrics
  • Up to 12 on the page
  • A layout per person

One page to start the day. Read from top to bottom.

At the top sits a greeting in the account's time of day. On the same line: the last audit's finding count, a History link, and Oppy's mode, Suggest or Autonomous. Switching to Autonomous asks you first. Below come the cards, in an order you can change.

  • Freshness, said plainly

Under the title, a line like Google Ads data updated 12 min ago. Figures over an hour old are read again in the background, and the page redraws itself when they land.

  • Your layout, nobody else's

Edit layout lets you drag cards, hide them or reset to the default. The layout is saved for you only, so a colleague's view stays theirs.

The cards, in their default order. Move or hide any of them.

This month: budget and goals together. Each set against an even pace to date.

Take Acme Store, a made-up outdoor gear shop with a €9,500 monthly budget, on day 14 of 31. It has spent €4,080 against a target to date of €4,290. Its projected month end is €9,320, 98% of the budget, so the chip reads On pace. Below 90% it would read Under pace, above 105% Over pace.

Three figures sit under the bar: Today, Yesterday and 7-day avg., each with its gap to the day's target. Then one line answers the sum you would otherwise do by hand: To end on the budget: €301 a day.

Hover the bar for Spent so far, Target to date and Expected by end of October with its likely range. A day-by-day chart shows the month, today's expected spend included.

Your goals, on the right

The right half lists your goals. A count is behind when it sits under 90% of an even pace to date. A cost is off target when it runs more than 5% over its goal. A rate where higher is better is off as soon as it drops below.

The first three show in full, the main goal first. Each count says Expected by end of October and what is still needed a day. Each rate or cost compares last week with the week before.

Each goal's full chart and Oppy's plan live on the Goals page, one click away through See the goals. To judge pace on your own, read the budget pacing guide or the glossary entry on run rate.

My metrics: up to 12, your pick. From 157 built-in metrics, plus your own.

My metrics opens with eight cards: Conversions, Cost per conversion, Avg. CPC, CTR, Calls received, ROAS, Search impression share and Clicks. Customize metrics swaps any of them, up to 12 on the page.

  • 157 built-in metrics

80 from Google Ads, 73 from Google Analytics 4 and 4 from Search Console, grouped as Costs, Conversions, Traffic, Visibility and more. The metrics catalogue lists them all.

  • From your Google Sheets

A column of your own sheet, like qualified leads or margin, set up in 3 steps and read again each night. Up to 20 per account, through Google Sheets.

  • Calculated metrics

Two metrics and one operation: divide, multiply, add or subtract. Spend ÷ Qualified leads gives a cost per qualified lead. Up to 20 per account.

  • Each card your way

Show it as a Number, Line, Bars, Gauge or Goal. Compare with the previous period, last year or nothing, draw a goal line, make it small or large.

Read a card before acting on it. Each one says what it counts.

Every metric card has an info mark that says what it counts. Calls received, for one, takes in each call your ads and call assets brought, whatever its length. Your goal may count only the calls Google counts as conversions, so the two can differ on the same day and both be right.

Under the figure sits the one it is compared with, and the goal when the card draws one. A ratio over the period comes from the period's totals, never from an average of days. Data and metrics shows why that changes the answer.

A metric whose source is not connected is not offered at all. Analytics metrics wait for Google Analytics 4, organic ones for Search Console, so no card sits empty on a source you never linked.

One period menu, shared. Whole days, in the account's own calendar.

The Period menu sits on My metrics and opens on This month. Periods end yesterday, so you always compare whole days with whole days.

Needs you: what only you can answer. Two tabs, each with its count.

  • Waiting on you

Tasks Oppy prepared that wait for your yes, a decision or an answer. Approve them on the Tasks page.

  • Open alerts

Alerts still open on the account, marked Critical, Warning or Info. This tab opens first when one is critical, or when nothing else waits.

  • Act from the row

Make a task from an alert, open the task it already has, or mark it read, with the same buttons as the Alerts page.

For agencies: every account against its goal. CPA vs target, on what each goal counts.

An agency workspace also has an accounts table across its clients. Its CPA vs target column divides each account's spend by what that account's main goal counts: calls, one family of conversions, or rows of a spreadsheet. A plumber counting every call is judged on calls, not on Google's conversions.

The cell reads 12% under, 8% over or On target, against the target on that account's Goals page, and stays empty while none is set. The table opens on This month. More on running many clients on the agencies page.

Questions about the Overview.

Anything else? Ask Oppy in the product, or write to the team.

What is the Overview in Optizads?

It is the Google Ads dashboard each workspace opens on. It shows this month's budget pace and goals, the tasks and alerts that need you, Oppy's measured impact, your chosen metrics, recent reports and help.

How many metrics can I show on it?

Up to 12 cards, chosen from 157 built-in metrics or your own: up to 20 metrics from Google Sheets and 20 calculated metrics per account.

How fresh are the Overview's figures?

As fresh as the last read, which the line under the title gives. Optizads stores figures day by day and reads the last 35 days again each night, because Google keeps adding late conversions. If you open the Overview and the figures are over an hour old, they are read again and the page redraws itself.

Do I need Google Analytics 4 or Search Console?

No. Google Ads alone fills the page. Analytics and Search Console metrics join the list once you connect them, read only.

Where does the projected month end come from?

From Optizads' own forecast, the same one the Goals page draws. Each campaign adds its share of the days left to what it has spent, capped at what its budgets let Google charge.

What does On pace mean?

The projected month end sits between 90% and 105% of the monthly budget. Below that range the chip reads Under pace, above it Over pace.
