The short answer
Open a task to read its evidence, the exact change and what it touches. Approve it to have Oppy apply it, discuss it in the comments, decline it, or ask an Optizads specialist. Tasks sit in four categories and four statuses, and can be viewed as a list, a board, a calendar or this week's short list.
What a task holds
- Category
- Account settings, Optimisation, New campaigns or Alerts.
- Status
- Waiting on you, To do, In progress or Done.
- Owner
- Oppy, someone on your team, or an Optizads specialist.
- Evidence
- The numbers from your account behind the task.
- The change
- Exactly what will change in Google Ads, and what stays as it is.
- What it touches
- The campaigns, goals and pages involved.
- Done means
- How you will know it worked.
Approve a change
Read the change
The task shows what changes in Google Ads, the numbers behind it and how you will know it worked.
Approve
Oppy runs every rule again and checks the finding again. If the problem is already gone, it writes nothing and says why.
Oppy applies and reads back
The change goes live in Google Ads, then Oppy reads the account again to confirm it landed.
It is logged
History records who approved it, what changed and the values before and after.
Discuss, decline or hand over
- Discuss. Write a comment. Oppy reads every comment and replies in the task.
- Decline. The task closes and the change does not happen.
- Hand over. Give the task to someone on the team. It lands in their Notifications.
- Ask a specialist. For work Oppy cannot do from inside Google Ads, such as tags, pages or creative.
- Mark done. For tasks a person completed outside Optizads.
Views, filters and bulk actions
Switch between List, Board, Calendar and This week. Filter and sort on any column, group the list, and save a view for the team. Pick several tasks to approve, decline, mark done or hand them over in one move.
Export the list or a filtered view as a spreadsheet, copy a view's link for your team, and open History from the top bar. A deleted task stays deleted, and History says who removed it.
