The short answer
When an account counts store visits or directions, a physical location matters to the business. A location asset puts the address, the distance and a map pin in the ad. Oppy flags accounts that count those local actions and show no location asset anywhere.
Why it matters
Without an address, the ad is a link like any other. The one advantage a business with a door has over a website, being close by, is not shown.
Location assets also feed the map results and help people decide in a second whether you are worth the trip.
How Oppy decides
The check is gated on the account already counting local actions: store visits, store sales or get directions.
Checks that weigh money or clicks judge what they find on your own account's numbers, not on one figure applied to every account, so what counts as a problem on a small account is not the same on a large one. Checks on settings read how the account is set up.
When there is too little to go on, the check says so instead of guessing. A finding always comes with the rows behind it, so you can read the evidence before you decide.

| Needs trustworthy conversions | No. It does not wait for the tracking step. |
| What happens next | Reported in the audit with the rows behind it. The decision stays with you. |
Check it yourself in Google Ads
- In Google Ads, open Goals, then Conversions, and look for store visits, store sales or directions.
- Open Campaigns, then Assets, and filter by type: Location.
- Check whether a location asset is linked and serving.
- If not, check that your Business Profile is linked to the account.
What to do about it
Link your Google Business Profile to Google Ads and add location assets at account level, so every eligible campaign can show the address.
Make sure the Business Profile's address and hours are correct, since the ad will show them.
